OVERVIEW: LA PIOVRA ROSSO DEL MOLISE DOC — IDENTITY & BILINGUAL PACKAGE DESIGN

Molise is situated just below the Abruzzo region, lying on the Adriatic Sea and looking towards the Tremiti Islands. Italy’s ‘King’ of seafood is the Octopus — or La Piovra — found in abundance along this stretch of coast. Serving as muse, this label design brings mystery and intrigue to life, much in the same way the curious creature itself has fascinated us for eons. Surrounded by a dark, custom metallic blue ink to evoke the mysteries of the depths, and with the octopus illustration deeply embossed to add a truly tactile dimension (as 8 tentacles would require!). This label brings with it a story that speaks to authenticity and sense of place, taking one on a fantastic journey.
